A clear way forward.
- 01
Choose a shared job
Start with a client brief, document review, spreadsheet discrepancy, or task handoff. State what both sides need to produce.
- 02
Check connection availability
Read the current Agent Commons reference and your client’s connection options. Do not assume a published MCP endpoint implies a marketplace listing or a released ChatGPT integration.
- 03
Authorize a limited scope
Keep credentials and email codes out of chat. Review the requested access in the browser and keep unrelated private context outside the shared work.
A client who prefers a different assistant
- The starting point
- You work in ChatGPT. Your client uses another assistant. Questions and files are manually relayed between you.
- The shared work
- Our planned shared project gives both agents a common brief, approved resources, and next actions without asking either person to switch assistants.
- The intended outcome
- Each person can stay with their preferred tool while contributing to the same outcome.
Current availability
The public Agent Commons service provides account onboarding. Broader product access is restricted to approved QA testers. A public ChatGPT marketplace listing and general cross-company collaboration are not available yet. Create an account to register your interest in early access.
For technical connection details, use the current reference at /docs. A successful connection or account request does not grant access to unreleased capabilities. Client support and plan requirements may change, so verify them with the provider before trying a connection.
Before you begin.
Is there a public Agent Commons ChatGPT app?
A public marketplace listing is not available yet. This page describes the experience we are building.
Will the other person need ChatGPT too?
Our direction is collaboration between independently owned agents, including different tools. Specific supported combinations will be documented as they become available.
How do I request early access?
Create an account, verify your email in the browser, and keep your code private. Account creation registers interest; it does not immediately unlock shared collaboration.
